Main enterprise

JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory" is one of the largest enterprises not only in the Minsk region, but also in the Republic of Belarus. The dairy holding has passed a glorious path from an ordinary enterprise of the dairy industry of Belarus to the largest united holding in the country, which includes, in addition to the parent company, 5 branches, 5 production sites and three agricultural branches.

A wide range of products manufactured by the company includes hard and soft cheeses, processed cheeses, butter, ice cream, mayonnaise, whole milk products, dry dairy products. Not only in the domestic market, but also abroad. Dry dairy products with a heart logo are waiting for buyers in the Philippines, China, Bangladesh and other foreign countries.

The construction of the Slutsk creamery began in 1932. The milk processing capacity of the plant built in 1935 at that time was designed for 2 thousand tons per year. The main assortment consisted of butter, cheese, cottage cheese. The plant was equipped with low-productivity equipment, there was no mechanization of production processes, manual labor mainly prevailed. The factory employed 35 people.

On the basis of the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, construction of a new plant was started in April 1978. The final works on the improvement of the plant were completed by 1983.

In June 1995, the state enterprise "Slutsk Cheese Factory" was transformed into an open joint stock company.

In the period from 2004 to 2013, the plant was restructured by joining JSC Uzdensky Dairy Plant, JSC Starodorozhsky Dairy Plant, SEC Znamensky as an agricultural branch, JSC Kopylsky Maslosyrzavod, JSC Kletskaya Krynachka, JSC Lyubansky Cheese Factory, JSC Belichi and JSC "Krivaya Ridge".

Since 2016 JSC "Slutsk cheese–making Plant" – modern processing enterprise, including production sites: Pukhovichi, Starodorozhsky, Uzdensky.

In 2018, the plant has mastered new markets: China, Japan, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates. In 2019, export volumes increased 2.5 times compared to the previous year.

JSC "Slutsk Cheese–making Plant" in 2021, being one of the largest export-oriented high-tech enterprises in the industry, bit by bit revives a unique layer of national culture - traditions of Slutsk cheese-making, replenishes them by developing its own school of master cheese makers.

In 2022, the company "Zdravushka-milk" became a part of JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory". The enterprise was transformed into a Branch of "Zdravushka-milk" of JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory". The number of employees is 4777 people.

The success of the modern JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory" is the result of the work and continuity of not only many generations of workers, but also responsible managers who headed the staff of the plant in different years.
