Kopylsky branch JSC "Slutsk cheese-making Plant"
In 1924, two cheese factories were opened here, and in 1936 a steam-mechanized creamery equipped with a small locomobile was built. And only in 1949 the construction of the dairy began. It was commissioned in 1951. In 1995, the company was transformed into JSC "Kopylsky Maslosyrzavod". In 2012, the maslosyrzavod became the Kopyl branch of JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory".
Today, the Kopyl branch of JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory" is a successful and dynamically developing export–oriented dairy industry enterprise. It carries out complex processing of milk and dairy raw materials (cream, skimmed milk), returnable waste (cheese whey, cottage cheese) and produces the following range of dairy products: butter, rennet cheese, dry milk whey and demineralized milk whey.
