Uzdensky production site
The history of the Uzden dairy plant dates back to 1936. At that time, it was a one–story wooden building. Milk harvesting was carried out from the population and individual farms.
After the end of the Great Patriotic War, the plant produced products mainly for the local population. 80 tons of milk were processed per shift. The range of products was small: butter, dairy products and cottage cheese.
Over the years of further operation, the enterprise has been repeatedly reconstructed and expanded. In 1977, on December 29, a new plant was built and put into operation with the processing of 95.4 tons per shift.
The main specialization of the organization from the moment of its foundation to 1977 was the production of whole milk products. However, the change in the conjuncture of the dairy market has significantly affected the range of products produced by the organization. Additional capacities were created to increase the production of cow butter and whole milk products, and also expanded the range of products in accordance with consumer demand.
Throughout its development, the company has undergone a number of transformations. So in 1995, the Uzdensky City Dairy Plant was transformed into JSC Uzdensky Dairy Plant.
In 2005 JSC "Uzdensky Dairy Plant" was reorganized by joining JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory" into the Uzdensky branch of JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory".
In 2007 The Uzdensky branch of JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory" was transformed into the Uzdensky production site of JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory".
Now the site specializes in auxiliary production, which is engaged in the maintenance and repair of dairy equipment on dairy farms in the farms of raw material zones.
