Lyuban branch
The Lubani butter factory was opened back in 1932. The production was located in an adapted room, everything was done manually. Like any Soviet enterprise, it provided the food needs of the local population and the capital.
The war interrupted the work of the collective. It was possible to restore the plant only in 1948, as part of the raimasloprom of the Bobruisk Regional Trust.
In 1961, a small factory was built on the outskirts of the city of Luban, equipped with mechanical equipment with a capacity of 10,000 tons of milk per year. The company produced butter, cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream.
In February 1981, a new Lyuban cheese-making plant appeared with production workshops: reception and hardware, lactose, cheese-making, butter shop. A cheese storage, laboratories, auxiliary services and storage facilities have started working here.
In October 1995, the company was transformed into an open joint stock company "Lyuban Cheese Factory". In 2009, the Soligorsky Dairy Plant was joined to it. And on October 17, 2012, it became the Lyuban branch of JSC "Slutsk Cheese Factory".
Today it is a completely different enterprise – it has an automated line for the production of Dutch group cheeses, workshops: for the production of semi-hard cheeses of the Russian group and elite cheeses, butter, dry dairy products, processed cheeses, concentrated whey. Quality control of raw materials and finished products is carried out in production laboratories.
In 2010, cheese maturation and finished product storage chambers equipped with modern refrigeration units were put into operation. In September 2013, a line for the production of skimmed milk powder and whole milk powder was put into operation.
In 2015, a set of equipment for the production of dry whey was put into operation.
In the next two years, two pasteurization and cooling units for processing raw and skimmed milk were put into operation.
In 2019, separators for high-fat cream were replaced in the butter shop. In 2020, three automatic milk acceptance modules, a two-route CIP station for sanitary treatment of equipment, and pumping energy-saving equipment were put into operation. The branch's car park has also been updated.
Thanks to the technical re-equipment of the enterprise, environmental safety of production has already been achieved, the energy intensity of production processes has been reduced, and the range of products has been expanded.
Today, the branch is mainly engaged in milk processing and the production of 15 types of rennet cheeses under the trademark of Complimilk and "Yas Belous". Consumers know them well and love them.
The branch sells products to all regions of Belarus through retail chains, outbound trade, logistics centers. Export destinations are actively developing: Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, China, the Philippines, Bangladesh and Japan.
The great demand for the company's products is explained not only by the competent work of marketers, but also by the excellent quality of the milk. Lyuban cheeses have repeatedly won medals at the Prodexpo International exhibition.
